𝗗𝗢𝗿𝗦𝗨 𝗔𝗰𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘄 ₱𝟭𝟬-𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝘀

Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) received its newly acquired ₱10-million bus on October 15, 2026, to support the transportation needs of students, faculty, and staff during university-related trips.

The 12-meter Golden Dragon XML6122 bus, supplied by Cross Country Motors, Inc., has a specified seating configuration of up to 60 passengers, including seven additional jump seats.

The bus features a 330-horsepower engine, reclining seats, air suspension, seat belts, an anti-lock braking system, emergency exits, fire extinguishers, and closed-circuit television cameras. It also comes with audio-video equipment, USB charging ports, and other passenger amenities.

The new vehicle is intended to provide transportation for students and university personnel participating in academic activities and other official engagements outside the campus.

The acquisition strengthens DOrSU’s transportation resources and provides additional capacity to support university activities involving students, faculty, and staff.

With the arrival of the new bus, DOrSU adds to its logistical capacity in carrying out its academic and institutional functions.
