DOrSU scores more accreditation wins across main, extension campuses

Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) added more programs to its latest accreditation gains after academic offerings from its main and extension campuses were formally recognized during the 2025 Certificate of Accreditation conferment of the National Network of Quality Assurance Agencies (NNQAA), Inc.
Receiving the recognition for the university was Dr. Roque N. Langcoy II, DOrSU’s Director for Quality Assurance, during the Annual NNQAA Quality Assurance Summit and Conferment Ceremony held on March 5, 2026, at The Heritage Hotel Manila.
Among the programs recognized was the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management of the City of Mati Campus, which earned Level III re-accredited status valid from February 16, 2025 to February 15, 2029.
Also conferred recognition was the Bachelor of Special Needs Education of the City of Mati Campus, which obtained Level I accredited status valid from May 16, 2025 to May 15, 2028.
At the Banaybanay Extension Campus, three programs were granted Level I accredited status: the Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education major in Home Economics, BS in Business Administration, and BS in Information Technology. Their accreditation is valid from May 16, 2025 to May 15, 2028.
Meanwhile, the BS in Business Administration major in Financial Management of the Cateel Campus received Level II accredited status, with validity from May 16, 2025 to May 15, 2029.
The certificates were issued by NNQAA upon the recommendation of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. and after technical review by the NNQAA Board based on accreditation standards and technical review guidelines.
The latest conferment widens DOrSU’s current accreditation portfolio and reflects the university’s continuing push to keep its programs under external quality review across campuses.
