𝗗𝗢𝗿𝗦𝗨 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘀, 𝗟𝘂𝗽𝗼𝗻
To address the challenges and aspirations of the Barangay Maragatas, Lupon, Davao Oriental, researchers from the Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU), Mr. Jerd M. Dela Gente, and Mr. Diether C. Montejo presented on January 23, 2024, the findings from a comprehensive needs assessment during the coordination meeting at the Grand Conference, Capitol Hills, Mati City, Davao Oriental.
Conducted over several months, the assessment aimed to delve into the concerns of the residents in Maragatas. The researchers employed a multifaceted approach, incorporating surveys, interviews, and community forums to gather diverse perspectives.
The assessment results shed light on critical areas such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, and socio-economic factors affecting the community. These insights will now serve as a foundation for future initiatives and policy recommendations tailored to the unique needs of Maragatas.
Barangay Maragatas Captain Hon. Beverly Rebalde has welcomed the findings, recognizing the potential for positive change within the community. The research outcomes are expected to inform future projects and policy decisions to enhance the overall well-being and development of Maragatas, Lupon.
