DOrSU researchers trained in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance
Vice-President for Research Development and Extension Dr. Wilanfranco C. Tayone and Dr. Janeth C. Tayone were trained in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) at the University of San Agustin, Iloilo City on October 2-16, 2022.
NMR training is a component of the PHP 120 M fund from DOST-PCHRD under the project, “Establishment of the Visayas NMR Laboratory: Enabling the countryside with the power of magnetic resonance for drug discovery and a forward-looking pandemic response.” It aims to develop enabling competencies of Tuklas Lunas Development Centers in Visayas and Mindanao.
Also taking part in the training are representatives from the University of San Agustin (USA), DOST-VI, University of San Carlos, University of Southern Mindanao, Central Mindanao University, and MSU- IIT.
