DOrSU Shares Best Practices, Institutional Initiatives with DSSC

The Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) shared its institutional practices and initiatives with officials and representatives of the Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) during a benchmarking visit held on August 20, 2026, at the DOrSU Main Campus.
The one-day engagement focused on knowledge exchange across key areas of university operations, including academic affairs and student support services; research, extension, publication, and innovation; administration and finance; and university initiatives and best practices.
DOrSU personnel, led by Dr. Roy M. Padilla, representing DOrSU President Dr. Roy G. Ponce, and the visiting DSSC delegation, led by Dr. Luciano D. Nasibog Jr., DSSC Vice President for Administration and Finance, participated in breakout sessions designed to facilitate the sharing of institutional experiences, practices, and strategies across the identified areas.
The engagement culminated in a synthesis and exchange of key takeaways, followed by a campus tour that provided the DSSC delegation with an opportunity to gain firsthand insights into DOrSU’s facilities and university environment.
The benchmarking visit highlights DOrSU’s continuing commitment to knowledge sharing and inter-university collaboration, providing an avenue for the exchange of institutional practices that support the delivery of quality and responsive higher education.
