DOrSU produces three topnotchers, 257 new licensed teachers in March 2026 LEPT

Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) produced three topnotchers and 257 new licensed professional teachers in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT).

Jacky Lou M. Lanaban of DOrSU Cateel Campus placed fifth in the elementary level with a rating of 93.80 percent, while Eubyne Roi P. Banayag of DOrSU San Isidro Campus ranked eighth with 93.20 percent.

DOrSU also landed a topnotcher in the secondary level, with Crisna P. Calig-onan of DOrSU Main Campus placing ninth with a rating of 93.40 percent.
DOrSU Cateel Campus led the Universityโs elementary-level performance with a 96.97 percent overall passing rate, producing 32 passers out of 33 examinees. All 32 first-time takers from the campus passed the examination.
DOrSU San Isidro Campus also posted a strong showing in the elementary level with a 94.00 percent overall passing rate, or 47 passers out of 50 examinees. Among first-time takers, the campus recorded a 97.92 percent passing rate.
DOrSU Main Campus recorded a 72.34 percent overall passing rate in the elementary level, with 34 passers out of 47 examinees. The campus also posted an 88.24 percent passing rate among first-time takers.
In the secondary level, DOrSU Cateel Campus posted an 80.00 percent overall passing rate, while DOrSU Main Campus registered 79.47 percent, with 120 passers out of 151 examinees. DOrSU Banaybanay Campus recorded a 71.43 percent passing rate, producing 20 passers out of 28 examinees.
The results add to DOrSUโs growing record in teacher education, with graduates earning national recognition and campuses posting competitive passing rates.
