Dong-A University Professor Donates FunEBall Sports Equipment to DOrSU

Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) received sports equipment for the promotion and development of FunEBall during the University’s flag ceremony on May 11, 2026.
The donation was made possible through the generosity of Dr. Eung-Soo Oh of Dong-A University, South Korea, the inventor and founder of FunEBall, as part of the continuing collaboration facilitated by Dr. Arvin Andacao, Dr. Leonard Sydrick Pajo, and DOrSU’s Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) faculty.
DOrSU President Dr. Roy G. Ponce formally received the equipment, together with Vice Presidents Dr. Edito B. Sumile and Dr. Roy M. Padilla, in the presence of University officials, faculty members, staff, and students.
FunEBall is an emerging sport designed to promote teamwork, inclusivity, and active participation among players of different ages and skill levels. It combines elements of volleyball, throwing games, and cooperative physical activities, making it accessible and engaging for both learners and athletes.
The donated equipment is expected to support future training sessions, recreational activities, and possible integration of FunEBall into relevant University programs.
The donation also underscores the continuing academic and cultural linkages between DOrSU and Dong-A University, particularly in advancing international collaboration through education, sports, and people-to-people engagement.
