DOrSU undergoes CSC mid-term review for PRIME-HRM Bronze Award

Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) underwent the Civil Service Commission’s (CSC) Mid-Term Review for agencies conferred with the PRIME-HRM Bronze Award on May 6, 2026.
The evaluation was led by Dir. Edna A. Plata, Director II of the CSC Davao Oriental Field Office, accompanied by Paul Michael S. Banugan, Human Resource Specialist II. The review covered the university’s compliance with the four core human resource management systems under the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM): Recruitment, Selection and Placement; Performance Management; Learning and Development; and Rewards and Recognition.
The activity formed part of the CSC’s prescribed review process for PRIME-HRM awardees, following the submission of DOrSU’s updated evidence requirements and the conduct of an online supervised self-assessment.
DOrSU’s Human Resource Development Services team, headed by Mr. Angelito S. David, was in full force during the validation and interview process.
University President Dr. Roy G. Ponce expressed optimism on the outcome of the review, citing the university’s continuing efforts to strengthen its human resource systems and sustain merit-based, responsive, and people-centered public service.
DOrSU received its PRIME-HRM Bronze Award pursuant to CSC Resolution No. 1801394 dated December 4, 2018.
