Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) clinched the championship title in the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) for School Year 2025–2026, posting an impressive overall score of 94.90%, according to official results released by the 11th Regional Community Defense Group (11RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army.
The University posted strong marks across major evaluation areas, earning 99.5% in General Administration, 100% in Arrival Honors, 99% in Ceremonial Parade, 95% in Inspection of Rank, and 98% in Close Order Drill.
DOrSU also performed strongly in military stakes, scoring 97.2% in Map Reading, 99% in Weapon Assembly/Disassembly, and a perfect 100% in Raid and Ambush. The unit also obtained 87.25% in First Aid/Basic Life Support and 80.73% in the Comprehensive Examination.
Despite stiff competition from universities including the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP), Cor Jesu College, Inc., University of Mindanao (UM), Davao de Oro State College (DDOSC), and the Rizal Memorial Colleges, Inc., DOrSU maintained its lead through balanced performance across all components, particularly in high-weight categories like the Comprehensive Examination.
The RAATI is a standardized evaluation conducted annually by the Philippine Army to assess the readiness, discipline, and overall effectiveness of ROTC units. It covers a wide range of criteria, including drill proficiency, tactical operations, academic knowledge, and administrative management.
Officials from the 11RCDG commended the participating schools for their dedication and discipline, highlighting DOrSU as a model of ROTC excellence in the region.
The winning performance reflects the university’s commitment to producing well-trained and service-ready cadets, aligned with the Army’s vision of a “world-class, multi-mission ready, cross-domain capable” force.
With this achievement, DOrSU strengthens its standing as one of the leading ROTC programs in the region, setting a benchmark for future inspections.
