DOrSU Boosts Business Ties with Trademark Partners
Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) met with its key trademark partners on October 16, to discuss the results of a recent monitoring visit (September 30 to October 3, 2024) and provide updates on royalty fee collections.
“These partnerships are crucial in helping DOrSU commercialize our research and intellectual property,” said Director of Innovation Venson Sarita. “We aim to create sustainable income streams that support our academic programs and contribute to local economic growth.”
Trademark partners share the goal of fostering business growth through intellectual property, which will benefit both the university and its partners financially.
DOrSU seeks to strengthen these collaborations by leveraging its partners’ expertise to enhance its intellectual property portfolio and become a hub for innovation, while offering partners access to new business opportunities. (DOrSU PIO)
