Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) Cateel Campus has been recognized with a Plaque of Recognition for its exceptional performance in the Licensure Examination for Criminologists (LEC). The award, given by the Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), honors the campus for achieving a 100% passing rate in the July-August 2024 exams.
The award ceremony was held on October 12, 2024, at the Grand Menseng Hotel, Magallanes Street, Davao City. Dr. Rex S. Aparicio, Dean of the Faculty of Criminal Justice Education, accepted the award on behalf of DOrSU Cateel Campus Administrator, Asst. Prof. Richard C. Maravillas.
Since launching its Criminology program in 2010, DOrSU Cateel Campus has consistently excelled in producing licensed criminologists. The program effectively integrates theoretical knowledge with practical skills, ensuring that students are well-prepared for careers in law enforcement and criminal justice.
