DOrSU Recommended for Continued ISO 9001:2015 Certification Following Successful Surveillance Audit
Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) has been recommended for Continued Certification to ISO 9001:2015 for its commitment to quality management systems. The recommendation was announced by lead auditor Mr. Jose Emmanuel Thomas Diel from SOCOTEC Certification Philippines, Inc. during the closing meeting of the 1st Surveillance Audit today, April 19, at the university boardroom.
The comprehensive four-day audit, which commenced on April 16, covered various critical areas of DOrSU’s operations, including top management context, undergraduate and graduate programs, registrar’s office, administrative services, research and extension, internal audit, and control of documented information. The auditors focused on ensuring compliance and effectiveness in these critical domains.
“This surveillance audit serves as an opportunity for us to reflect on our practices, identify areas for improvement, and reaffirm our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality in our operations,” remarked DOrSU President Dr. Roy G.
