CSO Academy Banaybanay Named Kislap Awardee at CapDev Accelerator Awards 2025
The CSO Academy Banaybanay of Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU)–Banaybanay Campus was named a Kislap Awardee at the Capacity Development Accelerator Awards 2025, a recognition conferred by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) through the Local Government Academy (LGA) for partners contributing to local governance outcomes through capacity development initiatives.
The recognition was presented during the Gabi ng Pasasalamat on December 10, 2025, at The Manila Hotel in the City of Manila. The award was received on behalf of the University by Dr. Analie B. Nemenzo, DOrSU Banaybanay Campus Coordinator.
The Kislap Award is given to partnerships with less than a year of collaboration that have successfully carried out initial joint projects and activities and have built a strong foundation for continued engagement.
For DOrSU, the recognition underscores the University’s continuing commitment to public service and its collaboration with government partners in strengthening local institutions through training, knowledge support, and community-responsive programs.
