Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, DOrSU Sign MOU for Academic Partnership

The Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU) and Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) have formalized an academic and research partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement was signed by Prof. Ing. Petr SkleniΔka, CSc, Rector of CZU, and Dr. Roy G. Ponce, SUC President III of DOrSU.
This partnership was made possible through the initiative of Dr. Francisco Ceacero, Chair of the Animal Physiology and Behavior (APB) Research Team. Dr. Ceacero also supervises DOrSU’s Asst. Prof. Jhonnel Villegas, who is currently pursuing a PhD in Tropical Agrobiology and Bioresource Management at CZU.
The agreement aims to promote faculty exchanges, joint research, academic conferences, and resource-sharing. Each institution has appointed a liaison officer: Ms. Tereza BrΕ«na SlΓ‘movΓ‘, Internationalisation Specialist, will represent CZU, while Dr. Lilibeth S. Galvez, Director for Global Affairs and International Relations Office, will represent DOrSU.
For faculty and research collaborations, both universities agree that visiting participants will cover their own travel and living expenses unless otherwise specified in a separate Letter of Agreement.
Additionally, both institutions will exchange information on training programs, certificates, and diplomas offered, as well as details on research programs and the groups involved in them.
This partnership marks a significant step in fostering academic and research collaboration between CZU and DOrSU. (DOrSU PIO)
