DOrSU, FTRC Team Up to Prep Pre-Service Teachers for BLEPT
Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) organized a Seminar-Workshop in partnership with Falculan Twins’ Review Center (FTRC) to help 350 fourth-year pre-service teachers improve their test-taking skills in preparation for the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT). The event took place today, May 4, at the DOSU Gymnasium, with FTEd faculty members headed by Faculty Dean Dr. Helina Jean P. Dupa and facilitators from Falculan Twins’ Review guiding the attendees through a series of activities that aimed to enhance their proficiency in both General and Professional Education.
The day-long program featured lecture reviews to equip the students with the knowledge and skills required for the BLEPT.
The seminar-workshop aimed to help the students monitor their progress and identify areas that needed improvement, thus promoting holistic development. DOSU recognizes the significance of the BLEPT to their students’ career journey and has proactively engaged with review experts Mr. Jeffrey Fortuna and Mr. Marvin C. Nillas to ensure that its students are well-prepared.
DOSU’s commitment to excellence in teacher education is evident in initiatives like the Seminar-Workshop, which promotes practical skills and academic rigor. The university remains at the forefront of shaping the future of education in the region. (DOrSU PIO)
