The activity, titled “Fostering Inclusive and Developmentally Appropriate Practices: Equipping Daycare Teachers in Play-Based Learning, Guidance, and Moral Development,” was conducted under Project BATA (Building Adaptive Teaching and Advocacy for Early Learning), one of the components of Project TUDLO (Teaching Upgrades and Development for Learning Optimization), an extension initiative of the BECEd program designed to strengthen the capabilities of child development teachers and workers through training, seminars, and workshops responsive to the needs of early childhood education.
Taking the lead in the sessions were FTEd’s faculty extensionists Elthon Jake C. Buhay, Asst. Prof. Robie V. Catubigan, Crispey B. Capundag, and Emellie D. Careña. Also present was Dr. Nherlie G. Monteza, CSWDO focal person.
