HM Students Gain Real-world Experience in Catering Management
Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) Hospitality Management (HM) students gained hands-on experience in Catering Management at the University Cold kitchen. The program, organized by the Hospitality Management department, aimed to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application.
Through conceptualizing and operating a mock restaurant, students developed critical skills in market analysis, menu planning, and food preparation. These skills are essential for success in the competitive hospitality industry. The five-day experiential program, which began on May 13, focused on fostering entrepreneurial thinking and problem-solving, preparing students for successful careers in catering and beyond.
