DOrSU Associate Professor Edison D. Macusi leads the authorship of the paper titled “Closed Season and the Distribution of Small-Scale Fisheries Fishing Effort in Davao Gulf, Philippines,” published in World, an MDPI Journal.
The study reveals that the most dominant catch of fishers in Davao Gulf, Philippines includes big-eyed scad (Selar crumenophthalmus), frigate tuna (Auxis thazard), roundscad (Decapterus spp.), skipjack tuna (Katsuwonus pelamis), and yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacares).
