The City of Mati, through the office of City Councilor Tara Rabat-Gayta, has expressed strong support for Davao Oriental State University’s (DOrSU) advocacy for inclusive education. In a meeting held today, August 14, at the DOrSU President’s Office, Councilor Gayta reaffirmed the cityโs commitment to helping students with special needs.
The city plans to provide financial aid, caregiving, and transportation services to ensure these students can fully participate in all aspects of university life.
This semester, DOrSU is set to welcome two visually impaired students, a milestone that highlights the university’s dedication to creating a more inclusive educational environment. (DOrSU PIO)
