DOrSU Professor Emily S. Antonio co-authors the paper titled “DNA Barcoding Based on 16S Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) Molecular Marker of Mangrove Clams from the Selected Sites of Davao Region, Philippines” published in the Asian Journal of Fisheries and Aquatic Research.
The study further elucidated the taxonomic identification of two Mangrove Clams species morphologically identified as Anodontia philippiana and Austriella corrugata using the 16S Mitochondrial DNA marker.
