DOrSU CDC Renews Accreditation as Cooperative Training Provider

The Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) Cooperative Development Center (CDC) has reaffirmed its leadership in cooperative education with the renewal of its Certificate of Accreditation as a Cooperative Training Provider (CTPRO).
The ceremonial turnover of the certificate was held on October 8, 2024, at the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Regional Office XI. CDA Regional Director Glenn S. Garcia, alongside CRITS Personnel Senior CDS Maria Theresa B. Dave and CDS II Jed Harvey A. Vertucio, officially conferred the accreditation to DOrSU in recognition of its successful compliance with the rigorous standards set forth in CDA Memorandum Circular 2023-11.
Ms. Jeni A. Nicolas, Director of the DOrSU CDC, accepted the certificate on behalf of the university. This accreditation grants DOrSU the authority to provide Mandatory Training to cooperatives for another five years, with the certificate valid until August 11, 2029.
DOrSU’s renewed accreditation underscores its commitment to fostering community empowerment through education, aligned with the university’s regenerative futures agenda. By equipping cooperative members and leaders with essential knowledge and skills, the university plays a vital role in enhancing the operations and impact of cooperatives in the region.
