DOrSU, Langoyon Beach Resort sign pact to boost tourism
Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) and Langoyon Beach Resort, located in Baganga, Davao Oriental, formalized a partnership on April 2, 2024, to enhance tourism in the region.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), signed by DOrSU President Dr. Roy G. Ponce and Langoyon Beach Resort’s Proprietor, Mr. Merwin D. Sobiaco, outlines the collaborative efforts of both parties in advancing local tourism development.
Central to the agreement is DOrSU’s commitment to imparting technical expertise through its Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management Program. President Ponce expressed support for the partnership, further conveying gratitude for the Resort’s trust in the university.
The MOU encompasses various areas of cooperation, including seminars and workshops that facilitate knowledge-sharing and skill development.
